Suresh Kalmadi - King of Sports Corruption

Mani Shankar Aiyar wasn't screaming his lungs out for nothing, when he criticized the monumental waste that the Common Wealth Games is turning out to be. He has been 100% correct.

Suresh Kalmadi has always been involved with one sports event or the other and they always have been over budget. He sticks on to sports events like a chewing gum to a shoe. This guy must be investigated for corruption as he surely stinks. People of India, please report his illegal and ill-gotten wealth by commenting on this blog. Let us pull this corruption king from his pedestal.

Here's an article from the Caravan about corruption in the CWG-> http://www.caravanmagazine.in/Story.aspx?StoryID=414&Page=1

Here is a list of his cronies, that aided and abetted him in this corruption. None of these people have any idea about sports or event management:
  • RK Sacheti, Joint Director-General (Coordination)
  • BB Kaura, Joint Director-General (Revenue)
  • M Jeychandren, Officer on Special Duty (Finance & Accounts)
  • Sangeeta Welingkar, Additional Director-General (Chairman’s Office and Image & Look)
  • Vijay Kumar Gautam

India should learn a lesson from this experience. The only people who benefit from these events are politicians and bureaucrats. Is this the UPA government's way of uplifting the AAM ADMI? I guess Suresh Kalmadi is just an AAM ADMI.

  2. Dear Anish,

I have a day job and that's all I can say. This is a passionate topic for me as I can't sit around or while away while the country is rotting. You can find all the information on the internet and just by digging around a little. Use of RTI act can get you all the info you need.
