As I had written in my blog post on April 8th 2011, supporting the Anti-corruption fight led by Anna Hazare, not to let people like Ramdev lead you astray from the fight against corruption. As I had suspected, using his massive wealth, he has started his own pseudo agitation to get political mileage from what Anna Hazare started. Poor Anna Hazare was not aware of all these leeches that would suck out the agitation from him and unwittingly let them share his stage.
I am dropping the "Baba" title since he doesn't deserve it. His good work in spreading yoga to the masses is admirable. He should stick to just doing and not dabbling into politics. His wealth and sources of income are mysterious and raise a lot of questions. India doesn't need someone as mysterious as Ramdev to be a leader of the masses.
