Y.S. Jagan's new palace is in it's finishing stages near Lotus Pond, in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. It is situated adjacent to the Press Photographers Colony. The construction work has created major problems for people living in the Press Photographers colony and people using the road next to lotus pond. Construction material is strewn all over the roads near his site and people cannot question or complain about it. If anyone dares to request the people located at the site to make way, they will get beat up by Jagan's rayalseema goons. Funny thing is that the cement he is using to build his house is Aparna ReadyMix and NOT Bharathi Cement!!! The board outside the buidling reads - "Bharathi Cement - Capstone Infra". Wonder if this whole project is funded through some shell company to hide the source of funding!!! You can see a continuous stream of Aparna ReadyMix Trucks waiting outside the building at all times of the day and even at night, causing problems for traffic.

God help Andhra Pradesh if this guy ever becomes a Chief Minister. He is able to abuse power now without any position in the state government, just think of what he can do if he gains more power.

Venus Energy - "Gudisela" G. Venkataswamy's Company - Blatant violation of tribal zone and government property

Venus Energy owned by the kin of the veteran Congress leader, Mr. G. Venkataswamy, the so-called doyen of the backward class and the downtrodden, has been granted permission to take up a 20 MW hydro power project on the Silair river, between Orissa and Andhra Pradesh. This project has been granted permission despite the fact that it is in a tribal area and is a blatant violation of all laws that are in place to protect tribals. The State of Andhra Pradesh and/or the State of Orissa can very well take up this project with their own funds and there would be no loss to the exchequer and the funds can be used for the welfare of the downtrodden tribals of the Silair region. They could also make it a fair deal by opening up the project for open bidding for all companies and give it to the highest bidder.

The only party that will benefit from this deal is Mr. G. Venkataswamy and his kin. This is clearly using political influence for personal gain. When Mr. Rahul Gandhi is running around in Orissa to protect tribal interests, why can't he prevent his own partymen misusing state resources?

• Bribe at the Passport Office for Submitting Application: Rs. 2000/-

Consequences of not paying this bribe would mean your application will rot in the endless file backlog and eventually get lost.

• Bribe to the Police constable who visits your house for verification: Rs. 500 -1000/-

Consequences of not paying this bribe would mean at worst an unfavorable report during police verification and denial of your passport and at best an undelivered police verification which would mean a undetermined delay in passport processing

APIIC babus who need to be investigated for every deal that was done during their tenure

APIIC babus, Mr B.P. Acharya and Mr D. Parthasarathi are behind many of the scrupulous land allocations done in the recent years. They are responsible for allowing Emaar to increase its stake and a reduction of stake for APIIC in the Boulder Hills project.

Incidentally, Mr. D. Parthasarathi is the brother-in-law of Mr. K.V.P. Ramachandra Rao. Mr. K.V.P Ramachandra Rao who is the personal advisor to the state government (deal broker) and the late YSR's partner in crime.

Emaar MGF Boulder Hills Scam - Looting of peoples' land for private (politicians, babus, and Dubai Emaar) gain

The Emaar MGF Boulder Hills saga started when Nara Chandrababu Naidu was the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. The government took away land from poor farmers in Nanakramguda in the guise of modernizing the city and gave them a pittance in compensation (which most of them have yet to receive). All this was done under the guise of the British-era land acquisition act, which gives absolute right to the government to snatch any land from the public.

The TDP government and APIIC alloted the land to Emaar MGF under a shady deal. In return, many of the APIIC babus and TDP politicos got prime villas for a pittance. Turn the clock forward and congress government came to power and immediately the YSR family and friends circle started looking for immediate sources of revenue. Emaar stake was reduced to 26% and more congress politicians and bureaucrats landed with prime villas in Emaar Boulder hills for a pittance.

In the end, it turns out that the state government didn't make a penny from this massive land giveaway to a Dubai based company. The farmers lost their livelihood. The politicians and bureaucrats made a killing by getting almost free prime land in the middle of a posh golf course. Emaar made a killing on golf memberships, villas, and apartments. The money went to Dubai.

Who loses? -> The people of the state of Andhra Pradesh and the poor farmers whose land was grabbed by the government.

Who gained? Telugu Desam Party politicans, Congress politicians, bureaucrats, and most of all Emaar of Dubai.

What is going to happen? Nothing. There will be a farce investigation. The same babu- B.P. Acharya- who was hand in glove with Emaar in reducing APIIC stake is supposed to conduct an impartial investigation into the scam. We all know what the outcome will be of this investigation.

How did the APIIC stake reduce to 26% from 49% in Emaar Boulder Hills?

When the Emaar Boulder Hills project was given to Emaar during the Telugu Desam government, APIIC had a 49% stake in the project. When Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy became Chief Minister, this stake magically reduced to 26% and subsequently to Zero! How did the initial 49% to 26% reduction occur? Were there any official orders issued for this? What was the reason?

I hear rumors about a certain Mr. Koneru Prasad of a company called Trimex Group was involved in this reduction of equity stake and in return the UAE emirate of Ras Al Khaimah gave a lot of goodies to YSR and his family.
